The RCI Family!!

Back in April I wrote a review about my day at a vintage drumshow, meeting Romano and the purchase of the RCI “Atomic Bomb” snare drum. A lot has happened since! After playing this drum and being totally pleased with the sound I purchased two more. Now it was time to show them to others so I created a profile on this site and put up some pictures of my drumset with the new snare drums. At that point I figured that was all that would come of it. I think it was the next day I said to myself let’s go look at the profile. I was amazed at what I saw. A player named Gonz welcomed me to the RCI tribe! Then there was a note from a player in England welcoming me. It went on and on. I had never recieved such a warm responce from other drummer’s. As time went on I got to know more and more players each sharing their passion for RCI drums. The sound of that snare drum and the way in which I was accepted into the RCI family conviced me to sell my drums and have the rest of the drumset made. I can say today that it’s been the best choice I have made since playing drums in my life. We often talk a lot about the sound of the drums because that’s what we drummer’s do but I thought it was time to talk about the company and the family that makes playing RCI drums so great! If your out there reading this review and searching for that special something like I was when I went to that drumshow come join the Family !! Your search is over!! JohnnyC

Hey Johnny,
You are so right. In my 40+ years in the drum business, I have travel the U.S. as a player and contractor. Doing business in various cities and states. You are nobody everywhere you go.
Till I found Midwest Percussion in Chicago. They became my family of friends to buy assessories and cymbals. Then came RCI. A more close knit group of drummers who take passion in their art. You, Gonz, Adam, Romano and the gang ROCK!!
Very proud to be part of the family.

You couldn't have said it any better Johnny! You have been showing the support just as much as you receive it! Thanks so much.

Beatle references don't hurt right?

Well said that man! Great to have you on board my friend.

All the best,
Adam.

P.S. - I think we should all start a trend for red suits a la Romano....maybe with RCI branding? The suits would have to be clear of course :-)
